This, like many Monte's with "upgrades" , example "pro street" require a specific buyer. And many have been on the market for a while.

I use 93 non ethanol in the dirt bike, AV gas in the Cougar. The crate in the Monte runs on today's 93 just like the suburban. The tow truck runs from the local COOP 50 Cetane, same as the John Deer. Ive got gas cans for all 🤣

Yesterday was a long day, a good day, and hot AF 🤣 Saw some staff and drivers from the old local track which was also a good thing. Car count was down again, because of the sketchy weather so everyone was texting everyone that we were going racing and come on down. Just a little info, in Va ive raced "street class " the progression in classes is normally street, footbrake, and super pro. This weekend was only footbrake and super pro so I knew I was at a disadvantage. But with bracket racing I knew I at least had a chance, because it's all computerized on times. Don't worry Dennis, I'll address your whining on racers messing with the computer in round 3 🤣 Anyway, because of the low car count, they let super pro buy into footbrake and vice versa. More races and I still had a chance. Test run 1, left lane, I ran a 9.02. Test run 2 right lane I ran a 9.80. Round 1, I picked the left lane and was aggressive on my dial in. red bulbed because I was also aggressive when I bumped in ☹️ Obviously lost. Round 2, probably the best run, we both were bumper to bumper crossing the finish line. Still lost 🤣 Round 3, mistakes a plenty 🤣 raced a friend from the old track, fast racer, Super Pro, and tried to be not so aggressive on my dial in and bumping in. What I didnt know he was having car issues. I left first obviously, checked the mirror , saw him leave, checked again and he wasn't catching me like I thought he should. checked again and he wasn't next to me. Racer mind should have been hit the brakes ( there ya go Dennis🤣) but I didnt and lost again. Lesson re-learned, focus on your race not the other car. So this weekend was good, got some cobwebs/ rust outta me, and raced all day. The Monte should be running races next at the end of the month 🤘

Locks only keep honest people honest ☹️ Ive heard of trailers, and complete rigs being stolen. I don't leave my hitch attached (yes with a lock) if the trailer isn't attached. Knowing this, last year I went in recovery mode, for Carlisle and a few other spots. Many options out there, do your research. My buddy has a tracker that works off a cell phone / SIM card. Since my Monte lives in the country, cell service is sketchy, I couldn't go that route . I went with a satellite tracker. Plus side, worked great off the web portal on a pc, minus trying to configure from the cell phone (IPhone) was a bust, tech support couldn't help either. If they want it, their gonna try and take it, best advice is being ready to find it once its stolen

I completely agree.....sometimes it would click, sometimes nothing. Ironically had to have other towed home from its first show ☹️ And try going to the parts store these days and asking for a coil for a GM HEI dizzy on a 70 Monte 🤣

Mine was when I got it from CA, there was a conversation way back then 🤣 about solutions but it corrected itself. Maybe the added humidity in FL but still nothing in Va
