Much along the lines of what Dennis was saying.... Make a list of your priorities, color, options, and so on. Then ask what's negotiable and what's not.Then look for THAT car . Give yourself a timeline as to when those checked boxes may have to be re-evaluated. I'm going to guess someone has a fire under their butt after the last Meet 🤣

Hey Jim, long time no...........Glad to see your still on the hunt 🤘 So what is it about this Monte that peaked your interest ? As mentioned, many of the "modified" Monte's sit on the block A LONG TIME. Not only for what was done but how it was done. And keep in mind "sometimes" they look better on the web or tv than they do when you see them in person. Sometimes its even cheaper to start with a stock/original and make the mods you want. Good thing about this group, if you ask for opinions your going to get them 🤣 And we luv helping spend your money.

I'm organized once a year, then its just a staging area for the next set of projects 🤣 And I'm pretty good at finding what I need, unless its important and I put it in a special place, then its 2 days minimum 🤣

I saw a graph some time ago, don't know how factual it was but......It showed that just a few companies manufactured MOST of the tools for all the brands. Craftsman (when they were at Sears) was great on replacements, HD has been with the Husky , and I haven't broken any Kobalt yet 🤣 Dewalt was very good with battery replacement also

Ask anyone that's built a garage, go bigger than you think you need 🤣 Space disappears very quickly 🤣

I still have some old craftsman too 😁 I mainly buy husky/kobalt on holiday sales, almost 50% of the normal prices. The HD 24 hour sale page is where I got most of my Milwaukee 12V tools, free shipping and if I have a coupon tax free 🤘

This is the only Snap-On box I own 🤣 Great little set tho. My buddy won this Cornwell at the US Nat's in Indy 2? years ago. I'm mainly Husky/Kobalt with a few HF thrown in here and there

Probably won't help you but ........ My 70 SS had the 3 port mechanical fuel pump. No issues in So Fl. When I did the crate swap the crate had a 2 port mechanical, so I just plugged the return line. Again no issues. Don't ask me about fuel mileage 🤣 Wasn't a priority 🤣

I hope my comments weren't taken as disrespectful. I just didnt remember 1/20 scale. I used to be a collector of die cast, mostly 1/8 , but have 1/64, 1/43. 1/24, 1/18 , and 1/12. Also some 1/10 R/C bodies.
