The only one I’ve seen has been installed on the drivers side kind of centered left right up down is that the appropriate location if there is one

I asked Santa for new Garage, two bids in now waiting for a third. If my Garage was here(early spring of 25, grounds too cold for concrete) that 71 would be in. It looks like a great car. Come to think about it I’m getting the garage to restore my 68 Camaro, if that Monte was in it too, some one else could be enjoying the new garage

Thanks, I installed a Holley sniper stealth from EFI System pro they suggest that I will need to get a can buss adapter, I don’t know enough to order it yet. seeing pricing all over the place from $970-$1700

QA1’S installed on all four corners (small block springs 500#?) the info stated it would lower the car 1” The left photo is with QA1, the right stock(I assume it still has the original front springs but the rears springs may have been replaced. I set it up level.

Thought the spring was the issue but upon closer scrutiny I’ve concluded it may be the hook, I used to work with an old Greek engineer he used to tell me ‘buy new dummy’. Probably the answer!

I’m able to remove from the cover from the retractor but getting it over the buckle is going to take some force I was hoping for a trick other than a hammer lol

The hood latch on my 71 releases cleanly but the hook doesn’t retract without extreme effort towards the end of the stroke, is there anyway to reduce the amount of pull required to move the hook clear?

Will 245/60/15’s work with this front setup

I have UMI suspension and QA1 coil overs on the front end. Currently the front tires are 215/75/15’s. Has anyone tried 245/60/15’s with this combo?

Endless Summer Cruise In runs October 10-13. Anyone other else going? Don’t see a lot of Monte’s there, (normally 4-5) but they all are clean cars. If you come be aware the town calls it a special event zone with increased enforcement. The highlight of the weekend is getting to drive on the boardwalk if you register and get in line early. Many national and specialty vendors.

Parking brake pedal doesn’t return home

Replaced the front cable, now the parking brake works and the pedal returns home, thanks all for the advice👍 -
I used white lithium and it helped, and they are getting better, my issue is the first 2” after the hood release, the hood doesn’t open far enough get my fingers inside.
