What is the rag method? I'd love to not have to go to the store which is 20 minutes away.

I've got the plastic pry tools..only missing the window handle tool. Also, I have one ding on my car that bugs the heck outta me that just happens to be in the middle of this door. I will have to watch some ding videos.

I soaked it real good with lube and surprisingly it didn't change anything. I watched a video on taking the door panel off. It appears I will need to order a special tool for popping off the window handles? Do you guys agree with that? Like this- https://www.eastwood.com/window-handle-removal-tool.html

Hi folks. My driver side door handle button is getting stuck pushed in...and not opening the door. If I pull up a few times on the interior handle it will pop the button back out. Anything I can do without pulling the door apart? Thanks you.

These folks have some good alternatives...thanks anyhow for your time. https://nastyz28.com/threads/gas-tank-vent-connected-to-air-filter-housing.205659/

The gas tank vent is connected to the bottom of the air cleaner base on my '72 with a swapped out 454. I'm wondering if it can be vented in a different way.

Yes, I have been all over them. I have it under control. But my question is about venting a gas tank...

EMI and RFI.

So I've ordered an air filter that will not have the original connection that vents the gas tank. My original air cleaner is causing the Sniper EFI to fail. My question is- what sort of down sides are there to not sending gas tank vapor back into carb? Is there a filter I could use instead? Charcoal canisters look to be something that goes inline from tank to air cleaner. Is there a standalone option? Will I lose any performance by not venting back into the engine?

I should have mentioned- the car starts with no problem. And Hyperspark is the distributor/coil/ignition.

Do any of you awesome folks know what this wire is and if it should be connected? I came across this as I am going through all ground wires on my '72 due to having awful magnetic interference causing major issues with my pathetically sensitive Sniper EFI.

I'd love to be walked through it... As soon as the mood strikes I will get started and likely reach out to ya. Unless anyone lives near Asheville and wants to come show me how this project is done.

Well, I did it. I finally pulled the trigger on new tires and wheels. Here are the numbers for anyone interested. No problems with rubbing. Thanks for all the help! MCfan- where did you get the awesome green lights for your dash?? I am really looking forward to swapping my clock out for the tachometer...but I quickly got turned off when the job was WAY more involved than I thought it would be. In your opinion, how many hours would it take to upgrade all the dash lights and swap the clock?

Loss of Power / Vapor Lock / Gas Tank Vent Lines
JP_AstroMan replied to David's topic in Engine Tech
I wouldn't be able to hear it with the new Delta 44's. I did try leaving the gas cap cracked and it actually seemed to run worse. -
Loss of Power / Vapor Lock / Gas Tank Vent Lines

I am having power loss while driving- any temp, any speed. Thinking it's a fuel venting issue. No idea. Killing me slowly. -
Hey folks... I'm having issues with my Holley Sniper EFI. Holley is saying the cause might be the lack of a gas tank venting properly. It's my understanding that there is a line that runs from the back of the tank to a vent behind the back seat?? If that is true, how could I test its operation?
