  1. Welcome to the club.
  2. Either Santa came early or your checking account is empty.
  3. Had a 74 Z1. Made them from 73-75. They had their time in the limelight. They’re getting mega $ for them now, mainly in stock form. Today’s bikes would smoke em though.
  4. Agree with Willie. Looks like a well optioned car too. Appears to be real nice from what you can see. Why shoot a triple black car in the dark? AC compressor missing.
  5. Good looking Monte. Congratulations on your purchase. You’re going to have to do better than just 1 picture though.
  6. Definitely the darker shade.
  7. No worries, no offense taken. After 24 years in the cabinet industry and another 26 in construction I get it. The best of friends hassled each other the most.
  8. Wow! I had just commented in a post earlier today that I’m learning something new every day here. Though this isn’t exactly what I had in mind, it was quite entertaining.
  9. Welcome Tony from another new guy. Great group here. Been learning something every day. Looking forward to those pictures.

Yes, those are similar to what I’m using. I buy the blocks and load the stations. They’re pet and child safe also. I’ve only used them in my shop though which is about 200 feet from the house.

So far the Camaro and the Monte have been mouse free so it sounds like from what both of you have said, the dryer sheets may be the ticket and because I have battery disconnects under the hoods of both, I can’t forget to take them out. I have the bait stations and traps in my shop also. I am still hoping maybe someone has had some good experience with the ultrasonics. Having the dryer sheets under the hoods of the drivers might be a little risky for the fear of forgetting to remove them.

Does anyone have the magic bullet for these things? I live in a rural area and I’ve got my traps that I check daily. This year has been bad regarding the damage to our vehicles. Mainly our daily drivers. Just this week they chewed the wires to 2 coil packs and 2 sensors on my wife’s car. I keep dryer sheets and Irish spring in the Camaro and the Monte. Although some say it doesn’t work. A friend said Pine Sol. I don’t want my cars smelling like a restroom. Was wondering if anyone has tried those plug ins that supposedly emits a sound that keeps them away.
  13. Beautiful car. Good for you for keeping it all these years. There are too many of us that didn’t and regretted it later on.
  14. My 71 doesn’t have the correct Rally wheels but that’s ok I like them. The build sheet shows it was ordered with Rally’s. Somewhere they were swapped out. My question is, with that option, was the spare included in that or did you just get 4?
  15. Thank you all for such an immediate welcome.
  16. My name is Mark Barabasch and I recently found what is as close to my first car purchased back in 74 that I could possibly find. I still kick myself for selling that car. I was aware of the FGMCC so I went in as a guest and looked around. I didn’t need a 30 day trial. I went straight in as a dues paying member yesterday. Checks in the mail Rob. Heck, the 38 pages of Dennises restoration of his 71 SS was worth the price of admission. I’ll try to send photos but I’m pretty computer challenged. In case they don’t initially go through, it’s a 71 Nevada silver, black vinyl top, bucket seat, base 350 car.
