Yes it is Steve. Looking forward to seeing returning and new Club members at this Mini Meet. It’s getting bigger every year !!!

I got mine from Summit. The manufacturers are selling a 1 size fits all tank now, for 1970-1972. The original 1970 tank is non vented (thru a vented gas cap only) and does not have the additional hose bungs built in for emissions and venting like the 71-72 do. The new replacement tanks do have them. If you are using it in a 1970, you will have to cap off the vent lines at the tank so you will not leak or evaporate your fuel. I also replaced the vented gas cap when I changed the tank.

You can also spin off your oil filter and drop it in a ziplock bag, seal it before removing it.

I’ve seen that Monte around at various cruise in’s on Long Island. I have left several Club business cards on it, but I have never been catch or able to meet the owner. He may be imaginary too.

Condolences to you and your family Tony, on Terry’s passing. A true gentleman, a wealth of knowledge and I always looked forward to catching up with him at Carlisle. He will definitely be missed at the Carlisle swap meets and our Club Meets. Godspeed to our friend and Club member.

Pick up a Hemmings Motor News and look thru it. Listings for stereo and radio repair, factory speakers rebuilt in there too. Reputable vendors advertised and listed in there. Old school classifieds before computers were available. You may be able to get it online now too.

Glen, You can come park next to us with “the other” tow vehicles we drive, elsewhere on the Showfield. I’ll show you where we park them.
