1970 Monte Fast & Furious 1:20 Diecast
MC-71 replied to MC-71's topic in Cars and Parts For Sale/Wanted
Okay here is the evidence. This is a gift receipt from Toys R Us from 2006. It says the scale is 1:20. I’m going to be posting 1:18 scale of the Monte Carlo in all different colors. Keep checking the For Sale section. The scale might be on the bottom of the die cast but I really don’t want to take it out of the box.. -
So glad you guys are okay. You are so correct about driving in snow. Thank god you know how to strap a car down. Same thing happen to a member from Connecticut, John Rodi coming out of Texas helping a friend moving back to CT. No car in the trailer but all household stuff. He had a blow out on the trailer and thought he was going to die. Not easy holding a straight line. He also was okay. I say thank god for learning how to drive in snow. I’ll contact him and tell him to read your post.

Sounds good to me. Order 1 White and 1 Black. Thanks for all you do Joe.
-
I will stay with Black. I checked out the colors hoping for a Gray. No luck.
-
Let me know. Thanks Joe.
-
Joe can you please order me a white hat. Better in the Florida Sun.
-
I found out that Skylark are the same and will fit Monte Carlo. Part numbers are the same. Thanks

Help with answer
-
Will the rear arm rests where the ash tray sits fit our Monte Carlo?
-
Ron I notice that you have not ran your AC flex hose. I think you are going to have a problem with the gauge electrical box you have sitting on top of your glove box.
-
I just got verified with my id.me for the Summit 5% discount. Thanks President Joe. JEGS has the same offer. Both are on certain items.
-
They don’t sell just the plastic wheel. Take a measurement of the depth of both.
-
Okay finally available is this hard sought out item. 1970-72 Monte Carlo with air condition. They don’t list heater cars. Must have AC. I believe the heater cars came with a metal squirrel cage. www.1aauto.com part number is TRQ HMA80108. I bought mine at $84.95 plus shipping. Received it and compared it to mine. Perfect Fit!

Okay Dennis how much do you think that hood weighed? Do you have a bathroom scale? Can you stand on it while holding the hood.💪
-
I have a NOS shroud in storage it has no staple holes in it. Maybe that was replaced at some time. That might be why they used Bolts.

Willie i need the picture of the back of the gauges. Just turn it around and take the picture. The Tachman is selling a large oil gauge but you need to remove the large fuel gauge and the small fuel gauge and install it where the idiot light is. I have the the other cluster.
-
Can anyone post pictures of the back of a Clock and a Fuel Gauge from a regular Monte dash and not a Tach gauge cluster. Thanks for the help. Carl
-
Does it still work? I’ll give $25 with free shipping. Thanks, Carl

That will go fast. Nice Monte.
