If I remember correctly you could not get the rally wheel option when you ordered the skirts so my guess is the wheels are not original. -

I have used seal skin not sure what they call it but the top of the line for the past couple of years on my 70 GTO,and my 63 Catalina Convertible that has no rear window in it, that's another story for another time but am very happy with them the cars sit outside all year long and not a drop of water in the convertible even in heavy rain and snow

Have had good luck with the Eaton Detroit Trutrac . Now would be the time to upgrade your axle so you can match your posi to it. Stock 12 bolt axles are 30 spline you may want to upgrade to a stronger 30-33 spline axle

Happy and a Healthy New Year to everyone !!! I would personally like to thank many members here for all the messages and phone calls through out this year. This year has been a rough one for my family and I. We lost 8 family members ,our 3 year old dog and on the 26th our hamster. Toms passing was a real shot to my gut and my Heart. Tom always said the FGMCC was like an extended family for him and i see what he means. So many of the members here have reach out with kind words and it has really helped me a bunch. Thanks again and everyone have a great New Year !!!!

It's either the flex plate hitting the starter or converter bolts backed out. But really sound like the starter issue.

That is definitely a structural brace for the support of the quarter panel so it don't start to lean in over time. They probably took them out to get to the nut for the body mount.

Looks great

I have seen black cars with both satin and gloss. I'm not 100% on what is correct may varry where it was built. Here is a picture of my 71 that has the satin blackout. Just to be clear this car is NOT an SS but is a factory black car with original paint, the rockers are satin black so I did this to match.

That is definitely an A/C car. We have the same box on big Red to delete the A/C. -
Willie is correct,it has three tabs that hold it in squeeze it and it will come off. If it's original it may be brittle and crack.

Willie the back garage where the Caviler is parked was a one car with a kick out if you remember. Tom and I have been planning to make it bigger for years but once mother nature decided to rot out the roof it was now time. Basically built using two of the old walls but of course bigger lol. Should be done with plywood this weekend. Like CK says got to get it sealed up before bad weather sets in.

Thanks that is a great deal. I've been using Milwaukee M18 tools to build my garage and are very impressed with them . I also have the rachet and impact.
