Yes Willie it really did ride like a Caddy. Not to say ours ride bad but with the velour interior it made you feel like you were at home on the couch.

My brother had a 74 factory Big block tubo 400 posi and almost fully loaded,not much of a performance at that time but it was a cool car.Always liked how they rode

I have owned cars that were painted after the top and all after a few years would get water under the paint and cause a bubble when washed and then the rust comes. -
A 71-72 hood will have the hole for the 71 spring to pass through. A 70 hood does not have the hole. If you put a 70 hood spear on a 71-72 hood you will see part of the hole on the sides of the spear.

There was a gold fist gen for sale a while ago with a 70 GTO wing on it and to be honest I liked the car but not the wing and I have a 70 GTO with a wing. But that is my opinion. -

Hosed off the COVID Monte went to a local show was surprised on how many first gens we're there and all said they heard about Tom's passing and were sorry. Great day and a sad one also....some pictures last one of COVID when I got home

Wow it makes me very happy inside to see that Tom MC1of80 is still helping out here on the site. He passed away almost 3 months ago. I miss him but it's the small things like this that help. -
Looks like a nicely optioned car from the couple of pictures.PW,PL,tilt NK4 steering wheel,gauges,sport mirror.

Tom's son little Thomas well not so little anymore lol is keeping big Red the 70 SS. The 4 speed Monte was a joint venture between Tom and I so not going anywhere hopefully I will finish it some day. Barn find I need so I know how to put the 4 speed car back together lol.
