With the car in run mode but not running you can ground the brown wire in the trunk of the car and the gauge should go to empty. Now for some reason when I did this trouble shooting step my gauge never changed in my car. Not sure why. Theoretically it should drop to empty. I ended up dropping the tank and replacing the tank, sending unit, straps and all vent hoses. It all needed to be done anyways.
When I ground out the tan wire it reads what I believe to be the correct fuel level! Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

I talked to a bunch of different people about where the best place to put the sump and as usual the more people I asked the more confused I got. So done some mockup and I thought it looked the best on the bottom and I know I know when im out doing hole shots the gas will be running away from the sump. So I told myself " self just don't let the tank get to Low " LOL ! What I did screw up on is how hi I put the fittings in the sump ! Don't like how it looks but ill get over it I guess ! I looked at those Paul but as usual I went over budget on the fuel system so maybe next time

I was pretty happy with how the tank and pump turned out so I thought I would spend a little time on the differential cover. Now the axle housing and exhaust look bad haha...its always something !

Got the tank, pre filter and pump installed and both the feed and return lines running forward for the fuel system upgrade.

Was just curious on how many guys from here are planning on being at Norwalk for the show? Some big " IF'S " if I will be able to make it or not but I would love to be there! I went last year for the 348/409 national meet and had a great time!
