Hey Guys I have to keep charging my battery on my 72. So I started checking the wiring and it has an alternator and I noticed that the original voltage regulator still bolted to the cowl in front of the A/C compressor, so I checked it and there is power to it. Never ran into this before can someone tell me if I can just unplug it or do I have to rewire something.
Thanks
Tony

Hey guys has anyone replaced the faceplate on the heater control. I can't figure out how the knobs on the slide arms come off and do not want to break anything. All help appreciated.

Put new circuit board in and all new bulbs. Now some of them work and a lot do not. could the copper tabs on the sockets need bent up or am I better off buying a bunch of new ones. All help or suggestions appreciated.

Thanks all, I really did no want to cut the dash or glove box. Sounds like I can keep that classic look.

Does anyone have one of those retro sound or usa made to fit receivers and if so how well do they work and sound. saw some bad reviews but they were older and am wondering if I should go with one of them or do a glove box system.
Thanks

Regulator and alternator

I do not have a terminal block near the battery. My positive cable runs down to the starter. so I am guessing that I would have to splice the red wire from the old regulator to the new alternator red wire. would this be correct.
