  1. Made a belly pan before I did anything else now motor is 180 and trans is 165 still climbs a bit in long freeway but could be water pump or aluminum pulley slowing flow down. But city driving it don't move off 180.

  2. Ok have a 70 with a stock three core rad with a mark 8 pulling air...trans cooler is b&m supercoller two inches in front towards grill. Built 406 about 500hp, Th400. I'm lost on this I have now nuked two transmissions after I went elec fan setup. It seems I have somehow created a air flow issue? Fan is set to turn on at 195 and off at 175. 160 stat. I'm not pulling air across my trans cooler, today it was just as hot as rad and engine etc.. While driving at hwy speeds my temp actually rises... This setup was in my 72 all stock cooling and never had a issue, swap all drivetrain to my 70 and add elec fan and also lowered car 2". Some are saying high pressure and need shroud etc. I hate the look of it, and I'm going nuts over here car is setup for road racing and I can't even keep trans temp in check just cruising around.

     

    Do I need a air damn, block off big open space under car? Basically need suction out of engine bay to move air.

     

    Sorry for the rambling but I'm frustrated.

     

    Does have a 3k stall too.

  3. I have a 70 that has had some straightening done to it with the body on. Now that I have the body off looks like passenger rail is about 3/4" higher right behind a arms. What I'm looking for is a frame spec sheet I guess so that I can take measurements and figure out were its bent. Have a frame guy with table to pull back into spec I guess. I want to box the frame in but don't want to start till I know frame is true already and not screw it up royally
