I fill em up with gas, park, pull out the battery ( basement tender) cover. Done. When I’m ready to drive uncover, put battery in fire it up and head to the gas station to fill it up again. I siphon gas all winter out of the cars for whatever I need it for. lol. 😂. Chris I hope you weren’t driving your car in December and January and are now deciding to put it up for winter.

No definitely not .parked it October.. I just know some people start them up throughout winter. Some people park them and forget about them to spring

I used to go start my Monte numerous times during the winter.  I did that for several years until I learned that it is not a good thing to do.  When you do that and run for only a few minutes it creates a lot of condensation in the exhaust system which will cause it to rust out.  I would also think that only running for it a few minutes is not the same as going out for a drive and I suspect it would not get sufficient oil running through the system to properly lubricate it and may create excessive internal wear... I don't know that for sure but I suspect it could create issues.

    Thanks for the info

27cents a gallon, 32 cents for Ethel . 1969. And the service station attendant would pump the gas, check the oil, clean the windshield..

Not today...at least not many around me...and it should be a free service for elderly handicap. And so on....

Today marks our 53 wedding anniversary. On a cold snowy Jan 16th day , I said yes after she asked me to marry her :). Just kidding…  we had 20$ between us but by the grace of God ,  clawed our way thru . She’s been a blessing to me all these years , almost as much as the 71 Monte :).. kidding again. But that is the reason I’m partial to the year 71 Monte. The year we were married.. IMG_6454.thumb.jpeg.4f2dfd4816a7699d8c2095605d5ecf52.jpegIMG_6049.thumb.jpeg.5fcd9976909b73b2bf9712160ab6b212.jpeg

Same here, I was on a ladder outside the house, in a tee shirt on Xmas.

The last couple of days I've moved over a foot & a half of snow.

My buddy got a gift card so we went today (1/2 price day) Hit balls for 90 minutes and was fun. I did manage to hit the ball recovery cart (NOT intentional) that thing looked like a mini swat truck 🤣Good Times
