This pertains to your everyday vehicles. I just received my renewal notice and I found that the rates went up about 25 percent. I’m curious if this is something that all companies are doing?  I use Allstate. I’m looking for feedback before I blow a gasket on my agent. Thanks.

I have state farm .my rates have stayed the same. My house is with them as well.very reasonable... I never looked into aaa as Rob said.. I am a member as well.

Took advantage of the mild temps to get the ‘70 tucked away for the winter.  Similar weather predicted for tomorrow, so it’ll be the ‘71s turn.  Summer went wayyyyy too fast… again. Let’s see if the pix load sequentially…

Yes unfortunately it's that time of year. Mine is tucked away as well. Summer did fly by. Hopefully it's not a long 7 months

Well my Va local track shut down 😡 Heard rumors but its done now. Not surprising since its happening across the country. At the moment the closest track is 2 1/2 hours away 🙃 Will have to wait till next year and see how things are. Made my first pass's in the Monte here (picture is then in the lanes) and a bunch more in the DD before that. Lots of good times.

That's a shame ....I'm sure good memories at the track....luckily we have one 20 minutes from me.

Last year was great, car sat for many years and in short time I rebuilt the entire drivetrain. I would have no fear driving it across country right now. Again life has priorities and the Monte will be on hold for a bit, not as long as last time though. Another unexpected event was a few months ago i purchased a car I wanted to buy 12 years ago but it was not for sale.  Well it cleaned out my Monte Carlo funds for a bit.
It’s a 67 dart sedan, base model with zero options, all stock original paint, 2 original tires, dealer installed waste basket under dash that’s never been used and protecto plate under the hood never removed from its sleeve. A few dents and dings you would expect. Sorry about the grainy pic. See ya guys later.024121D7-08D1-4D70-A2C1-663D5D6A8D51.jpeg.ecf738441b880c39b7c713ca33f9e157.jpeg

Greetings! I'm a new member to the club. I've been a first generation Monte Carlo fan since I was 18 years old. I've had a few of these beautiful cars in my life and as the saying goes, " hind sight is 20/20".

Many years I wanted another one, they were always out of my price range.  3 years ago I finally saved up enough to buy a 72 402 big block, bucket console, triple black car which needed a lot of work. Finally finished restoring her this year. Looking forward to meeting and talking with other members with their beautiful "girls".  More pics coming soon, finally got on the website, had some difficulties logging in.

Well I'd take it over that green thing that was posted recently 🤣 but its still a pass. I'll have to assume the S and the R on the front plate mean something to the owner, I will not speculate

Just read Joes post and comments regarding the GM - UAW cruise that sparked me to get this off my chest. Hot Rod magazine coined the phrase, I think in the 80s or maybe early 90s “dare to be different” to promote the cars you just don’t see. Are we in that group? I’ve had my 69 Z/28 for 24 years and have been going to shows as a spectator 25 years prior to owning it. As you know, like tri five Chevys, first gen Camaros at shows are everywhere. Went to a big show out here in SoCal. 2500 cars and no first gens. I would have been the only one had my trans seal arrived on time. 1 second gen, I believe a 74. There was even an Edsel wagon. It was always apparent to me that they were few and far between, but now that I have finally replaced my first car (a 71 purchased in 74) it’s more apparent than ever. What’s up with that? Can’t remember the last time I saw one in a magazine. I know I’m biased but man are they good looking cars. I’ll stop now, sorry for the rant.

I bought mine 23 years ago first one 1700 .it need some work.now way different in price
