I'm assuming they are different nozzles? Would you know where to get the ones for a 70?
-
So I ordered a pair of washer nozels, the only ones that are offered, they seem like they are for the cars that mount/squirt through the hood but my car needs the ones that mount to
The back of the hood, I looked for them up and they label them as is for a 70 monte they don't seem to have the 2 different sets.. anyone run into this?
-
The inside pieces they do make new I got mine on summit

The width is perfect you literally only need to trim for length and find a thin metal strip to put inside the v of the rubber so the screws don't pull through the rubber and also so the whole length sits somewhat flat against the car.
-
I can't post pics on here but if you give me your email we have a few trucks here I can send you a pic of the piece and location on the truck, you just trim it to length so it butts to the top and goes down just below quarter window
-
They don't make the outers so I took the rocker moulding from a mid 2000's f150 it's perfectly shaped, trimmed to proper length and took a piece of steel to reinforce where you screw it. It's shaped like a v, honestly it worked amazing
(From Rob Peters: Matt was having trouble loading the pictures so he emailed them to me and I am loading here for him. Thanks to Matt for this tip. Just a note, when you open each of the pictures look at the bottom o the picture for a brief description of each picture.)

I believe he is trying to install this duct for an A/C car. If you can not get it in you are going to have to pull the dash outward some. To do this you can put 12 inch threaded rods in the outer top dash steel frame mounting locations. Then remove the 5 other dash frame bolts. Do not forget the hidden one above the steering column. Then slide the dash outward toward you and install that part.
That is the part!

So cars done after 8 years lol. Everything went ok but drivers vent was not hooked up. The car is a air conditioned car and looking at it, sort of seems like it should have went In with dash at the same time. Well I'm not pulling all that out at this point. Summer is here and I've been waiting for this day forever. Someone else must have run into this problem it's not something you think you should have to do before putting the dash in. My question.. is there any possible way of sneaking this beoch in from the top or something or possibly just mocking g something up that will work? Please help!!! Lol this is the story of my life

So I forgot to hook up drivers side vent. I know it has to go over steering column but is there anything else I should prepared to have to remove?! Fml lol
-
I've had a few used ones and all have slop I'm assuming due to it being a drivers doir and being used constantly. I'll keep you guys posted on my solution thanks for the advice!

Problem is most originals are worn out, it's the drivers door, I'm almost thinking about just using a die grinder with a cutting wheel and making a new groove in it but fak that seems so stupid to have to do
-
That was my assumption, chevelle didn't have that 1/4" chrome piece that the arm rest butts up against so where the clip that's on the handle is supposed to secure to the mechanism is not out far enough and the handle will not "snap" on
-
Hey guys, so ordered a interior door latch mechanism for a 70 chevelle.... not quit the same as monte I guess.. can't seem to find one anywhere. Has anyone ran into this?
-
It's frustrating that you buy everything specifically for this set up and pay good money and you have to deal with this bs lol story of my life

Actually ended up cutting the shifter piece that bolts to the transmission. Over lapped it and welded it back on. Moved it out enough but still just grazes the console so now I think I just have to live with it...
-
I bought the hurst conversion, same problem I'm having right now. Can't get it into reverse. I'll have to do what you suggested also. Something seems to be missing. Hard to believe nothing seals the shifter to the console. I'll upload a pic next day or two

Found it in another post!

So I do not know where to find the particular seal/guide. One screws too the body on the outside of the window and one clip to the inside. As the rear glass rolls the back runs along these and they seem to keep the window from rattling or moving around and sort of act as a guide. I managed to make outer ones out of wether stripping from the bottom doors of a 06 f150 bit the immersive with the clips I'm having trouble finding. Anyone help?
-
I think this is the easiest route, I'll have to Do thisIf you need more let me know. Basically I bought the pre molded kickpanels and added 6 1/2" speakers. Then I added the tweeters and the filters under the dash. It sounds real good. The highs are up around ear level and the lows are low. You can stuff speakers under the dash but you will never get the larger magnets inside the drivers side.

Do you have more pictures of your set up?
Tail light housing gasket?
