  2. Hey Sam, that one would work for a bench, I checked application it won't work for a centre console I need a handle that curves too the right kinda looks like the one in the link from opgi may be the right one. Says it's for a centre console

  6. Nice right up Kelly! My hump is the same one and it is shaped too fit the tunnel it's hard too mess up but looming online looks lime I may have the wrong shifter and handle fml lol. 200 bucks I didn't have too spend.... The one I have comes straight up off the left side of tranny looks like original hangs over too the right? http://www.opgi.com/monte-carlo/1970/drivetrain/shifters/C210040/ http://www.opgi.com/monte-carlo/1970/drivetrain/shifters/C210041/ Looks like I need these 2 things?
  7. So I whent too a 4spd in my restoration used too be a auto. I bought the 4spd hump http://www.opgi.com/monte-carlo/1970/sheet-metal-body-panels/floor-pans/A62551C/ Having trouble with fitment. The hump only really sits one place not much for adjustment. Shifter seems way off. It's too far too the left anyone do a conversion that has advice? I'm doing console so I bought the hump required for the console

  9. Ya I used that on my frame seems too be good quality, it better be for the price of it lol
  10. I will forsure!! Tomorrow's the big day so excited! Never thought I'd see the body back on the frame.
  11. So what's the point of cars having a 90 or 45 or a 15?
  12. It does not unless there are different types of Duplicolour which is definately possible. I'm probably getting too anal about the car. Frame offs are not cheap I now realize lol. This car makes me feel like I have ocd lol
  13. Hey I'm just wondering I painted my engine gm orange a year ago and have been finishing up putting parts on it. Seems like everytime I bump it with something hard like my headers it chips so frustrating. Engine was hot tanked and everything so it was nice and clean. I feel like this shouldn't be happening but heard guys say it's hard too get any paint too adhere too cast blocks. Also been told had too get run and get got too cure paint.any guys have experience with this? I'm not taking everything apart at this point was just curious
  14. So I picked up a thermostat housing for my 454. The guy at the speed shop said it should be a 45 degree, but doesn't look right. My buddy has a 68 Camaro with a bbc and has his on a 90 and says mine should be. Does anyone know what the 70 454 had stock?
  15. Ha sorry boots, I didn't realize, I'm on a lot of forums lately asking questions I forgot about that... Sorry
  16. Hey guys, so I km putting my body on the frame this weekend and was going over my body mount bushing kit. My car was originally a 350 so I ordered the kit from opgi but I now have a 454 in it so I ordered the extra bushings for the bbc. Does anyone know where these extra bushings are supposed too go?
  17. It's looking like shortys may be a little less headache in a hooker or a headman
  18. So is your car auto or 4spd and it is a big block? Did you use long tube or shortys?
  19. It's not looking lime it but I'll check em out a little more
  20. I could see having too relocate that don't overly want too but... So mine is also a 4 spd so I have a shift fork.... And you didn't hit the lower control arm? Just wanna make sure second times a charm
  21. I know there's a header subject ready started and I don't want too hijack it. I have a 70 monte with a 1970 ls5 454 with original oval port heads. I just pickup flowtech ceramic header for it he couldn't find anything specifically for my car so we whent with Chevelle. They do not fit, passenger side hits control arm drivers side look lime it will do the same thing and both seem even if they worked will run right into the tranny crossmember. They are longtube. Anyone have experience with this? Would love peoples 2 cents you guys are really helpful
  22. hey guys I have a 454 that has just been rebuilt and essentially need everything that is bolt on for it, its a 1970 454 ls5 if anyone has a bunch of stuff they would like too sell as a package or ill even buy things individually let me know
