[Heater Box Vacuum Actuator Hose/Tubing???]

Anyone know what the right hose/tubing is to use for the vacuum actuators on the heater box and where to get them? Are they 1/4" diameter? How long are they? The person that initially removed my heater box cut them so I don't know the length of any of them. Does anyone know of the place that makes reproductions or do I have to try and find aftermarkets (one of the ones on the heater box appears to be black and orange)? I've checked sites like Vintage Air, Classic Air, Old Air Products, etc with little to no success.

[A/C Hoses - R12 vs R134]

I have an original A/C Hose that's in great condition and was looking to buy the other hose, however, the hose I have was used with R12 refrigerant and I will be using R134 going forward. The sales guy from Classic Air advised that I would have to have my orginal hose reconditioned/refurbed to run R134 in it and advised that if I didn't have both hoses to be reconditioned I could buy the other hose from them (new) that is already in condition to run R134. I'm no R12/R134 expert so does anyone know if this is truly the case or is he simply trying to get extra $ from me? Also, does anyone know of a place where I can find these hoses at an affordable price?
