  1. You have to remove the peened in cables from the pot metal holder..its a pain in the arse..I broke the first one when I did mine.. rob the kids crayons and color code the holes they go in so it works right when you put it back together..used tiny screw driver to remove them.. if you break off a tiny bit you may have to use epoxy to reassemble. Be patient and good luck..DB

  2. Just got back from western meet..what a great group of people if you ever get a chance its a must do for any Monte lover..no where in the world will you see that many first class Montes assembled at the same time..Canuck is the ultimate organizer and my hats off to him...what a great time and next year is a little far for me...but never say never..we drove straight from Bend to San Jose coming home 9 hours to edge of town and 45 minutes to get to the house..sheesh long ride but all worth it. Met a lot of very nice people and it was truly a experience I will remember a long time. Thanks again to all my new friends..and remember... eye wubb u elbiss...lol

  4. Ya know Doug, you would think in San Jose with a million people and lotsa car people, you would think it would be easy. Gotta pay some bills this week but i need a nice set of reconed speakers..i have frt cores if that gets a better price and i also have a set of Ken Harrison Audio rear speakers i bought from opgi..and then i found out they dont work with my factory deal..let me know what you need for a set of cherry ones and if you want my new ones..by the way..do you know Doug Decot from Johns Westide Auto Wrecking??...I think they call it LKQ portland now..Thanks Doug

  5. Lots of sound advice..dont pay the body man up front..been there done that got the scars..dont bite off more than you can chew..if you go frame off what i call the "domino effect" takes place..this part is too cherry to bolt to that part...and so on and so on and son..pretty soon 5 years go by and your hoping you can get it done in 111 day 15 hours..
