Thanks. Good to know. I think I see my car in your signature. Nice! lol
The Chevelle one's should be the same. -
I will let you know Bob. I may have a used set coming for a Monte. I am waiting to hear back if they are ok.
Cory, The ones I have do look ok but they are to skiny and they do look ok but it drives me nuts that they are not wider like the factory ones.

Anyone know if the Dynacorn M1460D ones they make for the Velli will work on the Monte?
Thanks

Ohhhhh ya! I will make up for it with a 700 R4. Lower 1st gear over the TH350. Even more smiles. Heehee

Thanks Dave,
54 1/2 was the magic number. Dropped the d/s this morning and it will be done later today. One step closer to testing out the 3:73's

Going from a stock 10 bolt to a Moser 12 bolt do I need to shorten the drive shaft? The drive shaft looks longer now.

2 months! That will put you at July 6th. You will miss the EM.

Pulled out the 10 bolt this weekend and stated to clean up the trailing arms for some paint and new bushings.

Thanks guys and yes I am going with Stainless. LOL I guess I need to post over at "What did you do to your Monte today" Purchased Chevelle brake lines.

Here is a good one. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
I am replacing the 71 Monte 10 bolt with a Moser 12 bolt from a 66 Chevelle.
Do I buy rear lines for a 66 Velli or a 71 monte?
Thanks,
-
I have been looking for a while for one for mine and I have seen GM 12 bolt ones run from $400 up to $1200 for a good one. After taking my time I found a Moser 12 bolt with 3:55s ready to go with 2k miles on it for $1500. Came out of my buddies 66 Velle. Now I have an extra inch in the back to make up for rear discs or fatter tires.

Thanks! I'm a sign maker so I may have to ask my distributor if they stock it. Cool!
Mike, take a look into 3M's Di-Noc series of woodgrain vinyl. They have a burlwood pattern, how well it would match I do not know, but this stuff works great for heating, stretching, and wrapping pieces. I hope this helps.Tom

Picked up my custom covered front seats.

I am not telling what I voted for!

I plan on doing a full custom console for mine. Does anyone make just a burlewood wood grain material that you can buy?

Ohhh here we go that the 71 is the best! Ohhh wait. You are right! I have a 71.
Well we all know the 71 front end is the best You just cant beat the rectangular turn signals and that purty grill. -
You can't go wrong with one of the top 3. Miller, Hobart and Lincoln. I got to use a Miller 211 when doing my Monte over and love the thing. Now I need to buy one. I blame my body shop guy. But that runs around $1000. DOH!
