Here is another link with some really nice stuff. Mark is a really smart guy and always willing to help with all budgets. Give him a call he'll let you know what will work for you price range.

Check out UMI's website. They have some great stuff, individual pieces or kits. They are also very helpful, I had a few conversations with Ramey before I bought the stuff for my rear suspension. It's installed, very high quality, but I haven't driven it yet we had snow yesterday and they salted everything again. Hopefully next week I can try it out.
-
Thanks Mike. I looked around here but didn't see any info about your car other than the engine and hood. What rear springs are you using?
-
Very nice Mike! Great times and looks like it's launching straight and hard! What do you have for suspension?
-
Nice time. What are the build specs on the engine?

I use Mobil 1 Synthetic in all my trucks and my Monte. With the Monte I also use a zinc additive. My trucks have always have over 200,000 miles at trade in(one of them went to 340,000 when I got rid of it)and the oil always looks good when changing it. 5w30 for all of them. A friend recommended Valvoline Max-Life for higher miles so I'm giving it a try in my daughters cars, so far so good. Good oil pressure, not burning any oil and it looks pretty good at drain time.

Thanks Mike. Worth the price if they make the job easier. Why do you get 2 in a set? Is it just that one is shorter than the other? None of the descriptions I read say why there is 2.
-
Mike where did you get those sockets? I have two plugs that are tough to get at and I think those would do the trick.
-
Congrats! It sounds great.

Was just checking, the picture gives a weird angle.

Looked at mine today when I grabbed my step ladder out of the big garage.
-
Are those upper A-arms on the correct side? It looks like your losing a lot of caster the way they are installed.

D.U.I./Performance Distributors makes a great product. Everything I have gotten from them has been very high quality. They even curve the distributor to your setup you order it.
-
Davey you got that car hookin and bookin. Great reading about your tire trials this year. Answered alot of questions for me.
-
Congrats Davey. Nice job mowing the field down.
-
Great job Mike! That thing launches nice. Always nice to see the changes make improvements.
-
Wow that looks great! Should be a beast!
-
Wow Davey, GREAT picture! You guys got them cars hookin' and bookin'

I'm looking to go the other way with gears. I have the 400 SB, not the BB. The 2.73's are great on the highway, I just feel it's sluggish around town. You'll definetly see an RPM drop. If you are interested in selling the 3.73's let me know.

Scott if this all works out, schedules and all. We were thinking about taking the ferry over also. It's less than a mile from the house. Maybe we could meet up and head over together.
-
Congrats Davey!!! It's always great to see your updates, the 'Velle just keeps getting stronger.

Performance Distributers makes custom sets to go over under or around the valve covers. I like the over the valve covers because it shortens the wires for less resistance. Check their website it has the whole list of wire sets.
-
Not sure of the part number for the Live Wires. I will have to look. I was going to use the standard 90 degree boots, with my setup I think that would work best.
I just looked, I think the part number is C9053.

Live Wires from Performance Distributers. They have great products. Have used them on my trucks and am looking at getting some tune-up parts from them for the Monte.

Hope you get it working Sam, you'll love it. Keeps a nice clean looking dash. Mine is hooked to a standard HEI, had no problems and it's really accurate.
