  1. Just painted the dash and now wondering the easiest way to put the silver pinstripping back on around the gauges and dash itself. Somone said there is a paint pen you can use but not sure where to get one with the proper color. Any ideas or advice from prior experience? Is the silver strippping even needed?
  2. Thanks this helps a lot... Fired it up today and took it for a drive before the snow arrives Sunday...!! Cant wait til April...!
  3. There are two small hoses coming out from the bottom of the air cleaner. One connects to the front of the air cleaner for the valve actuation however not sure where the other goes?? I believe either somewhere on the carburtaror or to the TCS solenoid. Can anyone clear this up for me? Thanks, Rick
  4. Is it really needed? I have a 4 speed so not sure it makes a difference. Will the car perfrom okay without it?
  5. Can anyone tell me how the vacuum lines run on top of the intake on the 1970 400BB? There is a solinoid then bolts on top of the manifold with one vacuum connection on one end and two vacuum connections on the other but not sure where the lines are supposed to come from and go? Possibly the air cleaner? It also has a electrical connector plugged into it. Is it possiblt to get a vacuum schematic for the car?
  6. What is the best way to get the original dash back to new looking condition? Would like all the gauges restored or replaced and the surface refinished. Same for the stering wheel? Is there a place that restores steering wheels? Rick
