I agree with you Scott. I have hookers on my 70 Torino and encountered the same problems. Only 2 1/2 inches clearance, so you know what happened. Just didn't want to make the same mistake again. Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it!

[Steering wheel repairs]

We have a 1970 with a green interior. The steering wheel has a half inch crack. Two questions. How do I repair this? Where can a new one be purchased? The interior is in a1 condition and I really don't want to change anything (just yet) except to add the shiftworks gauge package.

[Shiftworks gauge conversion kit questions]

Has anyone encountered any problems replacing the idiot lights with gauges or the clock with a tachometer from Shiftworks? I think I read something in this forum, but I can't find it now. I am still having trouble trying to post pictures of our Monty also.

Looks good...how comfortable are they? Could a short wife see over the steering wheel? Do you have some more pictures of your interior? We are kinda thinking of going the same route with the b&m shifter.
