Thanks guys! How did u do that mo? Ian, I don't like the mirror finish on any car, it looks too rice. Black on the other hand looks good on any color. IMHO

last night i siliconed the parking brake (when i released it the light wouldnt come off). It just needed an extra 2 mm, now it comes off. I also installed my new window cranks and removed my old cigarette lighter in preperation of my new one arriving. -Mark

My car is now leaking oil (yes it is oil not tranny sealer/fluid) after the tranny was rebuilt. Im going to bring it back to the tranny shop, but I don't want to go in blind. Is it possible that this happened because they dropped the tranny or no? If so where could it be leaking from? -Mark

so KYB is changing the color of their GR2's from white to black to look more OE... truthfully i don't care if its black or white. But when i get white fronts, and black backs I care that they don't match. Summit is sending me the matching set along with a return UPS label :-D A+ for summit customer service, thanks guys!

Today, UPS just dropped off my new spark plugs from Summit, I just gotta size em and cut em. I also got new air cleaner (FreFlo) and KYB GR2's. I should have the Monte back from the tranny shop sometime next week. -Mark

I participate regularly in various motorcycle/car forums and this thread is usually a fun one. It gives us a lot of ideas of what each of us does from one day to another on our bikes and cars and also gives us ideas of what to do to our own Montes... (Monties???) Please post here if you drove it to work, took the dust cover off it & washed it, took the engine out, pumped up the tires, turned on the lights & looked at it... etc etc, you get the idea. yea, i can do it by feel as well... but when your sitting in a drive thru and your not sure if you threw it in park or not it can be annoying. I took the dash pad off and removed a few dash bolts so the dash slid back a few inches, then i removed the cluster. I'm not sure if it is possible to do it while the cluster is still in. If you PM me your phone # I can text you some pics of how it connects to the indicator side. -Mark

So I'm installing a new shift indicator cable. I can connect it to the cluster, but wher does the other end go? In the neutral safety switch? -Mark
