Put on lower body moldings/rocker panels, wheel moldings, trunk lock/bezel, rear-bumper, hood-cowl seal, marker lights! Hitting it at 0900 in the AM, he is almost finished :-)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doug, I would try using a stronger solvent/cleaner to ensure the surface is oil free before applying the decal. Also, be sure to give the decal time to sit before inducing engine heat. Last recommendation is to call a good restoration shop and ask them what they are using homie

If you've never viewed the it and you desire more info on original paint; cross-references, close up paint chips, alias names for b.o.p. and caddy (other auto makers too), photo examples etc.

Thanks for all the info guys. GM did some "various" things to vehicles that just show up every now and then; i met an older woman once that was driving a first gen MC with a half-vinyl top. she said the car was purchased by her father new, with that top! only one i've seen like that...

Thanks Canuck! Any leads on where I can get an after-market one?

I'm racking my brain and trying to figure out whats the deal with the chrome trim that runs along the quarter panel and doors (sometimes all the way to the front), horizontally above the wheel openings. I like it, and its the one deviation from my MC's original state I want to add; what is it called?! Was it a GM factory/ dealrship add-on? Thanks.

Thanks Tony I never knew that! I'm assuming most people just put the rt mirror on. I wonder if it has something to do with the width of the cars...either way its interesting

Just got a shipment from OPGI of random detailed parts for my MC and the passenger door morror arrived cracked! As I stepped in the house to look into return procedures, I peeked at my '72 buyers literature (with that sweet brown monte on the cover :-) ) and lo-and -behold no passenger mirror!!!!!!!!!! Then I looked at the pic gallery and lots of you have none either! Any input as to why GM did this would be helpful! And as it stands now I'm not going to mount one!!!!!!!!! Thanks guys.
