Sailor Posted December 24, 2014 Share Posted December 24, 2014 My '70 SS came with a replacement radiator so the tag information on the radiator is for a '77 MC. My build sheet indicated a BC code. Is that a correct code for a 454 SS w/o AC? Is that considered "standard cooling"? Was "heavy duty" cooling necessary for a 454 sans AC?? If standard, what does the code BR mean? While here, does anyone know where to pick up an exhaust manifold heat shield for the '70 454? Thanks much for any and all assistance.
