Racie
Just wondering if I could use my 3.73 rearend out of my original 77 Z28? I just read my Popular Hot Rodding magazine and a guy used a 8.5 inch 10-bolt with stock axles from his 78 Camaro. Is there something he's not telling? big gear head
The Camaro rear end is set up for leaf springs. Your Monte Carlo has a coil spring suspension. You can not use a Camaro rear end in your Monte Carlo with the stock suspension. You would have to use ladder bars, 4 link or some other after market suspension to put the Camaro rear end in it. Racie
Thanks, I thought that I had leave springs under that car. Thats why I was wondering what the guy did and how. Thanks for the info...
