RARE MC
Looking for markings from a 1970 with a "-10" in the date code next to [LOF]. Thanks! Tom
savvarock
Tom, I asked some questions in "ss" section under exhaust system. Also, what is [lof]. I have a 70 and want to see if I can help out.
savvarock
The only markings I see (reading from the passenger side lower corner inside looking out)are "saftey plate" with lof in a box in between the word "safety" and "plate". Just below that is "as-1" under the word "safety" and "uv7" under the word "plate". Then under that centered is "laminated" and under that is "antenna" and under that is "dot 15 m20". I don't see any other markings and I don't know if my windshield is original. My car was built Sept. 1969. Hope this helps.
RARE MC
Thanks for the reply. The uv7 is the date code and factory code. This is great. I now hve markings from three different LOF (Libby Owens Ford) windshields. Steve gave me markings, but I would like to verify them with one more car. His If anyone has a marking like TV-10 next to AS-1 onthe other side of [LOF], I sure would appreciate it. Thanks Steve for your markings.
