  1. Tony, Sorry I can't help you with your problem, but thanks for asking the question. I am having the same issue with my computer at work. I can go anywhere in the web world except the FGMCC.
  2. Uploaded with ImageShack.us After reading other comments maybe this is not correct. I do not believe that this car was painted before I got it but can't be 100% on that. I just painted it exactly how it was. Sorry that I can't be of more help. Leo................ Vaughn
  3. Note on the top picture. The Black paint hits the jamb and then goes vertical for a bit. This height is held and goes straight back to the rear wheel well and then inside the wheel lip. Do you need this vertical distance?
  4. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us This is from a Canadian built 72. The car wears all it's original paint. I will try and get you a pic of the trunk area on my SS tonight. Hope this helps Vaughn
  5. Robyn you will be missed. A very, very sad day.
  6. Keep fighting Robyn!! Thanks for keeping us posted Sam.
  7. Just went and looked at my 72. It has 20,000 original k, never been touched, even has the original bias ply tires. It has the Red. Very cool!!! Never noticed that before.
  8. Get well soon Robyn!! You are in our thoughts.
  9. Good news Tim. It will be nice to see you and Gwen.
  10. From what I remember Sam, you are corect withe the last clip on the side molding having a screw in it. I do not think that the "L" shape moldings have any clips to hold them to the roof just the horizontal and vertical pieces that slide into them. Sorry but I am not at home to check for you. Vaughn
  11. Sounds awesome Steve!!
  12. Looks awesome Greg. Nice work!!!
  13. Davey beat me to it. Just kidding and welcome. Save that motor!!!!!!!!! even if it means tearing it down Vaughn

Looks great. I have been thinking about getting a set for a couple of years now. Time to get off my butt and "keep up with the Royce's". What brand did you go with Royce? Vaughn
  17. Rodney, I am not sure which Monte I will take. If I'm going to try the track it will be the 70. I would take you up on your offer to stay at your place but we will be going down through Idaho. We are looking at around 13 hours from here to The Dalles. Our fastest route is down through Bonner's and then over to Spokane and down. Which way will you be going? Vaughn
  18. OK. Got our room booked. Has anybody heard from Dan in Idaho? He came to his first meet last year in Polson. His son Travis hung around with my son. Very nice folks!
  19. I've still got the web cam but its going to Rodney.
  20. WOW!!! Sounding like a great turnout. Lets hope that everyone can make it.
  21. Rodney, You must be getting this extreme cold that we have had for the past couple of weeks. -10 seems warm all of a sudden!! I'm thinking that I will have to bring the Black 70 as Dave and Royce are getting all serious about the track. I've never been on a track but am pumped about giving it a go. I would love to bring the 4 speed but she is still a ways from being ready to drive. Don't forget, I followed you and Dave in your 4 speed. I think you will do just fine, on the highway and the track. Glad that your parents are coming. It was a pleasure meeting them last year. You are right, this meet will take 6 or 7 days. 660 miles one way for us. Going to be a blast as always.
  22. Aaron, I was at a Christmas party this past weekend with some of the FGMCC members from around here. It looks like you can add two more trailers with a few driving their Montes. I have found that in past meets if you arrived on Thursday before the meet you can usually find trailer parking in the hotel lots. Just don't move it out during the show or you will loose your parking spot. If you arrived on Saturday during the show you will not get a spot. The Dalles Inn looks like it also has some under cover parking. Whatever works for everyone is good. I would be in for a security guard if needed. Vaughn
  23. Great news Thomas!!
  24. I have used ones for a Chevelle and I found the biggest problem was the lip that secures to the fender. I had to heat them and bend them to fit. A pain in the you know what. I will not do that agin!! I have also used the ones from the Parts Place. As Steve said they are for a Monte and the fit was excellent. The way to go if you are set on using plastic inner wells. My 2 cents, late as usual.
  25. No need to wait for perfection!! They have it. I love the fact that every time I look at them I see something new. I've noticed that you can see the reflection of the windshield and chrome reflecting off the blower. COOL. Here is a 70 sports coupe that I have framed as a gift for my son.
