  1. I never had to remove the collector bolts
  2. It's on my list of upgrades, gonna have to wait a while right now though
  3. Darren, as always, a thing of beauty. Gorgeous
  4. My trunk gets packed with presents also, like you said, had a cover on it and no one is messing with that in my garage
  5. Kind of sounds like an internal thing with the trans. I know that's no help to you at all. Ask someone at a trans shop? I don't know what else to say
  6. What the heck? No 71 listed! Lol
  7. I used the same kit, simple and effective. If you have them pumped up beyond about 18-20psi it gets to be a rough ride. Not nearly as bad as air shocks
  8. Very nice work!!!
  9. Cory, thank you for taking the time to post all this stuff, this is sort of the lines I wanted to go with my Monte eventually, was thinking of just doing a crate 383 motor but I like the fact of not buying off some huge company prone to mistakes. please continue to keep this thread going. this is great info for me especially
  10. Looks great Tony!!!! And Sam, pic upside down again. as all mine are
  11. can't wait to see the finished product, even if it is blue! and Rob, best friend may be a stretch, but we are pretty close!
  12. Body shops with a uni-spot welder should be able to do this. I've seen the attachment and rivets to weld on. Also the screw on ones are functional, I used them on my rear window trim studs, load them with caulk first
  13. hard to explain but place the thick ends in and rotate the clip till it locks in, bend the thin part of the clip around backwards to lock into the molding and it will hold pressure on the clip to lock it in .does that make any sense?
  14. Best wishes you Dave, we are all thinking about you here. please keep us all posted
  15. it would be nicer right side up!
  16. New Hemmings Muscle Machines. Page 46. I see the Fgmcc sticker in the window It's obvious who's it is, way to show off the Fgmcc.
  17. I can tell you that years ago I ran one behind my Olds big block in a 69 Cutlass, maybe trans wasn't done right (2times) but it didn't last for me.
  18. Haha. Fgmcc is like no other! Surprised no one has yelled at you or called you stupid yet!!!
  19. that's good to know Doug, my passenger side has a crack and won't hold the visor up anymore, thankfully I'm never on that side so it doesn't annoy me quite as bad as if it was on the drivers side
  20. it's sad that we have to plan on new parts failing like that. sad but true
  21. I think we all know, that Rebuilding IS what he enjoys!
  22. Loked at the car on the way out through the garage in the cold pouring rain, and thought its winding down again this year, before too long it will be under cover again. Started making a winter list though, that's the only bright side! Depending on when they start spreading salt and brine here, I've been able to drive into December, or off the road before Halloween. Keep your fingers crossed gang!
  23. Sounds great! Nothing more gratifying then a first start on a motor!,
  24. Great work! I love it, very well planned every step of the way
