Is this the motor you had dyno'd ? I gotta say one step forward, 3 steps back!

🤣🤣🤣...............Boy do I feel (as Red Forman would say in "That 70's Show). I found my envelope they sent April 4th, 2025 , with the letter I need for the show. It must have not registered with those pesky brain cell tangents lurking in my head! . All I do is present this letter to the registration tent (between Gate 6 & 7) . It also States "ON-SITE registration starts Thursday July 17th, at 8:00AM at Gate 7 " . Glad I got figured out ! . All good now! And away ,we go!!

Just called the 800 number, registration is a Gate 6 next Thursday and Friday. I'm going to the website now and figure out what is happening with my registration.

I believe this was asked before..........has anyone gotten their ticket for the show yet? Mine has not shown up yet. I ordered mine when we were in Syracuse back in March for the Cavalcade of cars show.

You betcha! I'd rather have a space for my cars, and add a tool box later. I'm looking a 3 bay with a lift. This way, I have a place to put finished cars, and projects! The price it's at is close to the finished pole barn.

That's what I was thinking also. Should be a flat threaded bolt going into the transmission. Wish I would have documented the bolts in my transmission when I replaced it with the Turbo400 . those bolts are not correct. I do know a they have a large / thick flat washer for the trans mount.

Brian, I'm glad you had a great time at the show.If I had all the bugs worked out of mine, I would have been there for sure. Just can't go as fast asI want with my RPM's near the 3,000 range on my new BBC.The new 12 bolt with the 3:73 ratio and my small 28.5" tires just isn't doing it for me. Getting that sorted out shortly. I will be at The Syracuse National's meet this July 18th-20th. I bet they asked for you to join us. With over 10,000 cars, it's just to much to think about not going to see it. Glad to see you were at this show in Ohio, and congrats on the award!

The sway bar has been spoken for. A member on here has asked for it. I was called at 11:31 am this morning. Must have been just after I posted it on the for sale section. Man, that was quick!

Anyone interested in a rear sway bar? I have one. I'm replacing it because of the coil over relocation kit I installed on my car. Price is just the shipping costs. I'm in Upstate New York. I will be in Syracuse for the National's on July 18th-20th. Could deliver it there. It's a 1" dia. Bar. Please PM me if interested.🙂

If anyone is interested, Carlisle Events sent an email with there survey. They have a Photo Gallery that you can download pictures from. They have quite a few of our 1st Gens on there.

Never, ever use an impact on these bolts. That's where the problems start.You can spray the 4 front bolts from in side the engine compartment. You can do one side at a time also. Heck, you can do it outside and get better light on things also. Did you go with the poly style from mounts? Just asking, last a lot longer. I was lucky, just one bolt spun.But we had to take that side off to replace the lower floor under the seat anyway. Keep us updated on your progress. Glad to see that trans mount helped out. I use the energy suspension poly style 2 bolt mount . I have solid motor mounts on my BBC ,as well as the old SBC that was in it.

Looks like a good start on a '72. Most of that will buff out! Oh Dennis, would you have parts to finish it up?

If it was me , I'd contact the shop you bought it from and see if they make house calls ($$), to come out and check it out for you. Is there any warranty on the build? Looks pretty stock to me.Has to be something simple in my mind.

Chevelle door cards? SS wheel? '72 rear trim, with '71 rear lower trim? vinyl top trim ,with no vinyl top? Nope, not for me! I'm still liking my Custom "Clone" (minus the auxiliary lighting,Thanks Joe T).

I hope everyone gets there safe.I would have gone but a few things on my car to work on yet. I received my 30.7" tall tires today. Don't look too bad on it right now. Oh, and it will do a burnout!

Definitely something that's rotating. Seems to go with rpm's.

Does that steering shaft have clearance on the header? Could the torque converter bolts be loose? Hate these issues on a rebuild. Hard to get a good feel for it. The time should be longer in the video, like 30 second clips.
