Received moroso pickup. It has 2 areas that looks like it needs to be bolted as far as i know the almost stock one doesnt resemble this at all..been a while summit said the oil pan would work on 72 monte and dude recomnended this very pickup. I havent got pan off yet but is there somethin im missing...i think whats throwin me off is the bolt plate

I used the google machine fml i hate that... its 50/50. Half say better half say worse like yu said a bigger cam might make a huge diffence ..

Yeah im kida a newbie compared to yall...used to wrench alot in 20s and 30s. Now north of 40. ..picked it up again and enjoying this forum and this club plus doing my own $%^^t..its rewarding. And hell lot cheeper plus love learning things

I lost all the recipts and everything i put into it 15 yrs ago...i know heads and rockers. I know installed longer pushrods so def bigger lobed than the performer rpm that was in it...i cant remember. Sucks and misplaced cam card in a move ...live and learn

Not sure i thought was around 244 246 duration .50...round 510 or higher lift...hydraulic flat tappet...i dunno i still think less air resistance more vac. But its only 8 inch difference

Im thinkin less distance. More vacumn. Less resistance ina shorter span kinda yu would think...like a vacumn cleaner

No clue ive ran before to carb. Im gonna try direct to manifold. It is a short hose tho...kinda a really unuser freindly design by edelbrock

Yeah agreed think im gonna use these like really high jackstands. Set height ..put safty pins in and lower perfect ..nice and safe in theory

Uggg...what concerns me a lil is im pulling motor out a scooch and i didnt wanna jack and use 2 by 4s fig id use a hoist but with that crack was worried bout stressing ..so now im torn betwixt the 2 ways..

Great idea im gonna do that. Gotta pull carb again anyway cause studs turning ugg wasnt when installed now afrer warmed up and set a lil i was gonna put a lil thread lock on it as well
