  5. I hear ya. If now a days if didnt have that cam prolly would of done. Maybe a little different cam. But i think its ginna work out with my set up pretty nice

  7. Weekend warrior...still drivable i think for longer cruises too ...occasional track . I live in country. My town has 1 stop light a bar and 2 churches...lol...next towns are excactly 15 miles away

  9. I ordered new 168 dual bolt flex plate. From summit arp bolts and went with a boss hoss 2800 to 3200 converter. Hughes seamed maybe lil better quality but didnt have anything like that. Thy had a 22 to 25. And a 25 to 3000...the next was 3 to 3500. I thought maybe a lil high. I can always send back to summit if i change my mind
  10. You know theres great reveiws and then theres these horror stories. ...companys dont stay in business for over 40 yrs for makin garbage...most of these have to be from people not installing correctly or getting trans coolers. Ect...i would think
  11. Hughes said at least 3000...tci said 3300...and aac said 2800 to 3200 so i went with acc. Guy seamed more knowledgeable

  14. 20250503_182752.mp4 I have a ssb kit already installed its temporarily on the fender will eventually be mounted on frame rail. So cant notice it....also tci recommends 3400 stall hughes recommends between 2900 and 3200. I was either gonna go b&m 2900 to 3200 stall or hughes 3000 stall. Bith have great reviews...any thoughts or wich maker i should choose? Dont have $$ for custom. Also can i use reg 168 flex plate or do i need a reccommended manufacturer one in thinkin thy just want yu drop 400 bucks on a flex plate..
  15. Whoo hooo found cam specs. Written or scribled like s%ht. But still. Ye haw...advertised duration 308/318...lift 488/510.......built th400..3.73 gears..and i sent yu head specs. But this is just the cam
  16. Sorry my bad thinkin around 248 intake and exhaust duration...dont think was as high as 260. ...i wish had the cam card. Sucks
  17. Theres around a 2400 in her now. Shell lite em up but when wants to kick in. Shell drop alot of rpm before the launch. ..that converter was installed before all mods...i installed heads ..and intake ..new rockers all the top end stuff within last 4 years

  19. Ive posted that in a diff thread. Th400 built ..373.richmond 12 bolt.. cam not exactly sure. Thinkin it around 260 duration. 510 lift.ish..dont have cam card i know its hydraulic flat tappet ..heads 200 runners 64 cc and 2.02 dart....its out of car. I know a guy who has a engine stand dyno...was gonna build it and time and tune it on that than find out the rpm curves...as long as its out of car. ..in thinkin 2900 to 3400 range tc tho..sounds right. Its a big cam needed seperate brake booster X
  20. I was thinkin. Maybe not shimmed right..when i replace ill make sure. Any suggestions..was gonna go with a b and m torq conv..high stall. .with new flex plate should i get a b and m as well or is a summit racing one just as good. Im aware how to properly install as well thanks scott
