Thanks Mike.....The new trans is a TKO600 from Liberty's Gears out of Michigan. They have a number of different treatments to make the trans more durable and shift better. The rear is a Moser 9" with a wavetrac posi, 35 spline axles and 3.70 gears. Everything should be good with the exception of the driver who has a few screws loose.......

Yowsa! It amazes me how fast these big cars will go with the right setup. Keep up the good work!

I stopped by S P Classics to visit my Monte. They just installed my new 582. I LOVE my new hubcaps. All I need now is some white walls.

I put 2 hubcaps on the drivers side and admired how stock my car looks with them. I got them off fleabay for $20 for the set. I think they will offset the new 582 and cryoed TKO 600 that gets dropped in at the end of the month.

Sam...I checked at the place I normally go to and with the weather getting cooler, the mix was around e75. I just went to another station and it was around e83. I did run into one of the crew that is running e85 in his turbo Porsche and he told me of another local station that has consistent e85 all year round. I am going there for the next fill up. Davey...You are right on with what you say about the cooler charge....that def helps BIG time. I am psyched to get my new built motor in my Forester so I can turn up the boost. When will you have your new carb?

What compression are you running? I had tossed the idea around when I redid my 496 but opted for a 10 to 1 pump motor. I converted my Subaru to E85 and it really loves it. The fuel has been pretty consistent so far in the month or so that I have been testing it. Good luck with the conversion.

No problem cracking into the 11's with that 100 shot. I would get that low fuel pressure cut sensor for it also.

That reminds me of a 1985 Dodge Colt Turbo I had years ago. It had a 4 speed with a high and low range. They called it a twin stick. I actually left it in low range then came out in first then second then high range. I don't think I shifted it back into low range other then the initial launch. I had nitrous on that thing too.

Just ask Al M with his 427 small block. He went faster then my much larger big block and others I am sure.

I find that Rockin Rollers tend to be very loud. Don't they know how to play music more quietly?
