  3. I would remove the part that bolts to the hood until to get the hinges where they need to be anyhow, that way you can adjust it up and down and back and forth.
  4. I worked on a bunch of them at oldsmomile, no one else wanted to so give it to the new guy.

  6. Dinosaur barbecue is one place in Syracuse that is a must do, also Eva's if you like polish food, heids world famous hot dogs is another also santanglos in liverpool is a great place for Itialian. These are all in the Syracuse area.
  7. Welcome to the club, glad you've found it helpful. Car looks good, as stated some of us started out with very ugly cars and are much better now. Even though my car looks better now I'm still just as ugly 😅 great people here that are very helpful.
  8. Yes it's all pretty much the same except internals and the one upper control arm but j believe the 10 bolt one will work on the 12 bolt.
  9. to the site, yes we do love pictures and questions someone here will have an answer, there's a lot of knowledge here and great people. Oh yea we do have some fun on occasion too 😁 and sometimes get a little side tracked🤪
  10. Yea once you get hood up check the pivot points on the hinges for any play.
  11. Yes it is a double latch after you get your fingers pull the latch again it should open. There is an adjustment on the part that bolts to the hood too.
  12. Forgot to mention the mini meet in Syracuse in July held in conjunction with the Syracuse nationals, around 8000 cars attend that one, the largest car show in the north east.

  16. Yes we have one near by, I went there for a fundraiser when the wind blew the screen down. It is back open again but no speakers hanging on windows I guess you have to tune the radio to the correct station. That won't help in me because my radio don't work.

  18. 60 degrees this morning, sitting outside my camper having morning coffee ☕️ guess going up in the 70s for next few days 😀
  19. The red 66 chevy truck by the front door won a couple awards, very nice truck and the guy was a nice guy too. He let me sit down for a bit and we talked a bit too. Awards are on there fb page if anyone is interested.
  20. Having flurries off and on today and only 35 degrees while in getting stuff loaded up in truck and trailer. Sure hope it's a little bit warmer in w Virginia, we're leaving Friday morning.

  22. Vintage plates, NY used the same plates from 66 to 73 so you can use the plates from era if you have the proper insurance on the car. That's what I have on mine.
  23. I doubt that any of the cars or trucks there drove there on the own power ( maybe a couple) most came in on trailers. That's the way this show has always been but it wasn't about the cars it was about the company, we did have a great time meeting up with friends and getting together for some good meal and good times.
