I would have ever started on one of them at least not at my advancing age lol

Finally got the grill detailed and reinstalled I am not sure abour the black yet but it sure looks better than that old dirty stuff that was there and I used the rattle can chrome on the parking lights and tjey look much brighter but will not know until I finish putting it all back together. I forgot to paint around the bezels for the parking lamps so they are now ready to paint I just hope I have enough SEM trim black to do them if not then back to the paint store tomorrow for another dose. This is one job I do not think I will ever repeat it was a real PIA

63 here at 8:15am and gray skies with rain on the way. yesterday it was 81

I was able to take my Alt into a local shop who converted it to a one wire Alt and I a, so glad I did.The case was marked as a 63 amp Alt but when he checked it out it turned out to be an 85 am one. I had been considering upgrading but he said mine was in great shape and don't waste the money. Ther name of the place is CPR in Anderson IN and great folks to work with

Boy this is one project I wished I had not started. Now to decide on how I want to finish up after I get done cleaning. Did the 72 have just the front edge of the grill chrome, Edge and lip. I was just going to clena it up and not paint it at all but the grill is not finished up very well, the chrome leaves a lot to be desired as it was not finished out very well so I now hsve to mask it off and use an etch primer and then decide if I want black, argent or rattle can chrome whcih is my third choice with argent my 2nd but leaning toward the black using the SEM Trim Black

Nice looking but the black is doing nothing for me, price is not bad either es[ecially with a 400

In Indiana we can put the plate on ours that corresponds to the year of the car. In 72 our plates white with green letters and numbers. Red and Green do not go together any time any where period

Wallet but most of the time I have on cargo pants/shorts. Every time I put my wallet on my hip I end up with sciatica now I am pain free from that at least. Used a fanny pack for many years but van a hassle. Never cared for a money clip although I did try that for a very short while

Our cars may to have metal that is tothick for the paint dent removal to work well. On these new cars the metal in my doghouse is more metal than in a whole new car LOL

I had thought about attaching the flexible shaft to my Dremel like Crapsman tool but the last timem I tried to do that it did not work so maybe I should read the directions this time LOL. I did buy a detailing kit for dremel that has several different buffing like pads in it but have had other projects to get done while the weather has been warm. Redoing themstone around the circle drive, picking up the stone out of the yard from snow plowing9I am begging to despise the gravel drive), but I need to get back to it and stop procasternating
