Installed steering box with no issues. Car steers great and turn signals work just fine. What a difference.

I ordered one from The Parts Place. They assured me it would fit. 12.8 to 1 ratio.

Just got off the phone with the Parts Place and the guy told me it is a direct bolt on exchange. With all the talk about having to change rag joints and fittings I still wonder. Has anyone bought one of these boxes from the Parts Place? Just wanting to be sure I have all the parts before I take my car to the shop to have this change done. Thanks in advance.

Calling them was my first thought but I didn't know how knowledgeable they would be about there products. I will call and see. Thanks.

Did a search. Lot's of info but can these be installed relatively easily without removing fenders and such? Mine are cracked and scratched and I would like to replace them but not to the extent of removing fenders. Thanks in advance, Roger
