Just pulled the Tranny out of my 1970 Monte,how do I know if its numbers matching,also going to pull the motor too,same thing. And is there matching numbers on the rear end.

Looks great!! I was going to go with the factory fathom blue,but ya got me thinking now. Under the trunk lid is still shiny and it looks similar to yours. Thanks --- Monty

I am looking online and found 2 styles made by Moog,mc501 and 5379,both are for the 70 MC,which one would be best?? Thanks --- Monty

I'm new here,I have a 1970 Monte,was under her yesterday,taking down the gas tank to start on the trunk pan and noticed the rear springs looked odd,come to find out the left one has the 2 tight coils down and the right one has the 2 tight coils up,Is this factory or a factory or former owner mistake?? And I guess if its wrong will it hurt anything?? Dont know if this is the proper place to post this,if not I apologize . Monty
