welding these small patches isn't working for me. I saw a nova where the guy filled holes in the bumper with lead... so I figured why not weld only the corners and middle and fill the rest of the seems with lead. my floor needs to go together asap. I cant let it not get done before winter. I bought the car to drive and now that the floors(and lets not get into the trunk) isn't getting done I need something to substitute this welding.

Does anyone know of a lead or lead free body solder kit forr under a hundred bucks? the only one I can find is the Eastwood basic kit footer $110...

I'm missing two innermost bolts on the outside of the intake manifold that connects it to the head.

I have the L65 350. I'm missing some bolts and want to replace my valve covers. Can I take the parts off any 350? If not, where would I get these parts? I can't rely on Swap Meets, they're far and few round here.

Any one Hear good or bad things about OPGI's factory replacement Vinyl Tops? How do I install it? With special glue? Seems like a good deal for $140 or so but I know what being cheap can sometimes get me. Thanks

Hey all. I bought my 71 off of some one who had things all kinds of wrong. Trans pan bolts hand loose and all. Anyway...I bought valve cover gaskets and noticed, when I removed the valve covers, one of the valve covers had a hole in it!! I immediately realized from the wear on the inside of one of the covers that the rocker arms had worn through and were still wearing through the covers. I think they went back on the wrong way and/or on the wrong side and that's what caused this problem. I may be wrong, and want to be corrected if I am. But if I'm right, can anyone tell me which side each is supposed to go on and which way? One has the oil fill and both have oil/air vent lines on the ends. I'm real new to this so thanks for the help.

My gas tank needs took be replaced. Can anyone recommend an accurate replacement, but not to pricey? Thanks

I pulled what was left of my carpet and the black mats that under it were falling . I wasn't to replace it. Someone recommend dinamatt. Its that what I should Jude? And what is that material exactly? Thx..

Hello everyone. Very excited to be a new Monte owner and FGMCC Member. I am Restoring a 71 and need to put new Interior floor braces in but don't know where I should buy them. I've searched and seen them go for an average of $105, front and center. I also need to put in new trunk floor pans and braces along with fuel tank braces. I've seen a kit with all this and a pair of trunk drop panels for $415 on EBay(all overseas Made) My concern, other than price is if it's OEM spec and will fit my car correctly. Thanks for any help you can give me.
