its not a clutch fan its all there though such as shroud/tunnel and i feel like its a 195 thermostat.

I'm out in AZ and I'm running an all stock 350 with HEI backed up by a 200 4r and soon to have 3:73 gears. I drive my monte daily but it seems to run in the 200 to 210 range when it comes to temperature and i want to cool it down alot! It has a new ac-delco water pump and someone had put a 3 cor radiator. I plan on upgrading the radiator but I was hoping someone on here who also lived in the desert could share a good experience they may of had with one. please give me all types of cooling input! thank you!

P.S. This is a daily driver.

I'm thinking of picking this up and building it for my monte. I'm currently running the original stock 350 300hp motor with 230,000 miles on it. My original plans were to put a mild cam in it with upgrades to the intake, carb, ignition, exhaust and cooling (I'm in az). I have a 200 4r backing it with plans to build the 12bolt in the rear to 3:73 posi. Should I stick with the original plans for the 350 or pick this up? I have an HEI Napa distrubutor on it.

I went with the Eaton clutch unit on my car and also plan to run 3:73. Eaton is used in the street sweepers that city of Scottsdale uses and everyone i've spoken too loves them! the auburn units make a ticking noise but the eaton clutch unit is very quiet. I just recently purchased mine from jegs and priced matched it with summit for that extra $10 savings ha but eaton is currently offering a $70 mail in rebate. I highly recommend you look into eaton it was a great deal!!

I have a 70 monte with the orginal 350 4bbl set up but back by the 200 4r. The issue I'm having is I'm hearing this clacking noise from the motor it's not very loud at all and the motor still feels fine. My dad seems to think it's an oil pump Eco. Any others ha I g this problem and do I leave it or change the pump? Thanks in advance!!

I was wondering if anybody knew where i could find an aftermarket headliner for my 70' Monte. I don't want the normal vinyl fabric type I really want like a vinyl that's similar in looks to like a vinyl top but much less aggressive. like a leather look. any ideas?

I plan on using my car as a daily and taking road trips with it. is this something I should consider when buying headers?

My buddy went with a street demon carb on his camaro and he loves it! I'm running the orig Quadra jet and have never had any problems with it and honestly I do great on gas unless I'm always mashing on it but I highly Recommend finding a Q-jet, Best carb I've ever delt with and you can by reproduced ones from jegs or summit.

would any of you guys know if ill have fitment issues due to me running a 200-4r trans? I just dont want to spend a lot of money on something that wont fit you know? thank you all for your help

I have a 70' 350 car with a/c p/s and p/b. I want to know if theres a set of mid lenght or full length headers that I dont have to beat up to fit on my car out there. please let me know if you guys know of any. Thank you

I want to make keep it a daily but kind of a beginner level street/strip car as well. honestly I just want to prove to my tuner friends that classic muscle is the best way to go.

Well yes ha true I'm sorry i meant more along the lines of the brands of those cams for my small block and maybe specs of a cam someone has had good reviews on.

Would one of these cams suite my stock 1970 350/300hp well? I want to do a cam upgrade in my 350 because I'm installing a 2004r/2000 conv and 3:73's in the rear. When doing the cam I also plan to upgrade the stock intake, exhaust (headers run to dual) and carb as well.

This car is stunning and is everything I want out of mine! I don't have a whole lot of money but I'm trying to take steps in getting my monte going in the same direction. would you have any tips or any advice? i also want to know what size wheel/tire your running in the rear. I want to go with a deep sitting wheel like you'd see on a lot of other pro touring cars. Thank you
