  1. looks like you need more than just a trunk floor pan. i would say dont do a rolling restoration..jus park it in the garage and get to work.

trunk floor pan...trunk filler panel...metal work inside the rear window channel...rear left fender and the drop off inside the trunk and that rear panel below the trunk lid....

    get to work

  2. yeah..i had the rear up on jack stands and the front up on jack stands as well...smh....unfortunately now my drive shaft is too short...i cant win..so no i will have to get a whole new drive shaft. glad summit sells drive shaft kits and i finally have the measurement that i need to make it work...smh...this gives me a chance to get a brand new drive shaft tho..i guess thats a good thing as i can go bigger than stock..was thinking 3" since it will fit.

the stock u joints on out montes are 1310 style right

  3. ahhh that's good to hear....so I should have no clearance issues....

I wan tmy drive train to be as heavy duty as possible so I don't have to mess with it again down the road..never thought about non greasable u joints....are those good for daily driving?

picking up mine today.....so I can finish the GV install and hopefully test tomarrow or Wednesday.....

  4. my driveshaft I sat the shop getting ready for the gear vendors and the shop called me and asked would a 2.5" shaft fit because since I have to use a 1350 joint... they don't make one to fit out 2.25" shaft. instinctively I said it should fit but I really don't know??

and another question for any one else who has installed a gearvendors unit.....what was you drive shaft length if you ran a th350???

  5. yep thats the resivour i got...that pump wont work in our montes because the shaft for the pulley is not the screw on type..rather its the press on type. so I swapped out the actual pump....my original pump worked fine before the hydroboost install and still works good...with that resovour you will have to modify the bracket to work and clear exaust and the engine block...but yes thats the one i have

  6. heres how I had to modify the floor brace to fit the gear vendors unit up in the tunnel as to avoid driveline angle issues

these two bolts on top of the unit are the reason it dosent want to fit...

but its in there now...now to figure out how to get the speedo cable to connect..

looks like I might have to modify the brace in this location as well.....

  7. that's the one thing I didn't take pics of..sorry...but it looks exactly like our stock resivour except for the two return ports on the back..one is in the original location and the other is opposite of the original...only problem is when installed with stock bracket...the hose rests on the engine block and exaust is really close so I fabbed up a longer bracket and found a longer belt that works.....love my brakes
