I belive he is talking about vigilite or whatever the fiber optic light option is called. I wouldnt do anything permanent you could make decent money on some of those options. How bad is the parts car you could always sell it to fund the SS.

I have a bad habit of using my back button and when I do the site gets really slow. If I use the forum list button everytime it works fine. As for opening the forum when I first get on I usually dont have a problem at work. When I am at home it is slow but I belive it to be my poor DSL.

Wow that would be a cool car to have.

Looking good from what we can see. Is this one going to be original or a custom build.

The blacked out strip is between the trunk lid and the bumper it is painted black on 71 SS cars it should also have trim at the top and bottom of the blacked out area. Hard to describe look at pics of 71 SS in the members Montes.

I had a 71 SS with no a/c map light mirror bench seat and tach dash so I would think anything is possible.

I searched this topic and found this info (They are the same as the 69-72 Grand Prix. You can get them from Ames Performance. Go to their website to look them up.)I forgot to see who wrote this but I looked them up pg. 151.

I just wanted to put in my two cents this is the original block I prev owned this car. The vin is stamped on front pad of the block I belive as he states this could be the last 71 ss built. When this veh was mine I ckd all the numbers this car was very original but very rough. It still had the org radiator. Yes this car does not have the build sheet due to someone before me replacing the seats. This monte still has the pad on the rear bumper air ride and shock protectors. thank you
