Cleaned up the garage around it now I have to build a shed so I can use the garage to finish disassembly. i'm bound and determined to get the body off the frame by the fall. Lots of housework to do first and I thought I would get a break after moving.

How is the bolt pattern on your starter and how do your valve covers bolt on. You probably have a early sb or a late model the starter they were going to give you is very common. You can either try to find someone who will help you by pulling several years or get the casting number off the back of the block on the driver side.

Count the nuber of teeth on the ring and on the pinion divide the number on the ring by the pinion. Say you have 37 on the ring and 9 on the pinion that would be a 4.11.
