Larry it has a chevy 8.2 correct? I wouldn't think they would put a bop in a chevy.

As title says, unforuntaly the prior owner decided he wanted a posi without paying posi money and welded the gears on the 8.5. I just picked up at my local yard a 1970 bop 8.2 out of a lemans sport.stock auburn posi with 2.73 i believe,Is it a direct swap? being abody to abody i think it would be, just figured i should ask before i start swaping it out and finding unexpected issues.I will eventually fix the 8.5 but just need the car to go without chirping the tires at every turn for the time being. Btw my car is a 71 monte carlo if that means anything. Thanks. John
