Sad news. Met Dave at the 2010 Western meet, straight up and stand up guy. Our condolences to his Family and Friends.

Very Cool story Aaron

Looking forward to seeing you again Doug.

Thank you Aaron,
Great meet, great people, lots of fun. I love your choice of music for the video, who doesn't like a little "Wide Mouth Mason"

Very nice!!!

This is a very nice car and Darren has done a good job.
I do have a question though. Darren how in the world do you get GM of Canada to tell you how many where made with different coloured tops or bench/bucket seats or written off. I have requested the same info but all I ever get are crickets, lolz

Looks like a good turn out and congrats to all the winners

As always, a great time and great people. Sad we couldn't make the winery cruise. A big thanks to April and Aaron.

We have one of the cabins booked for the show at the Rosedale and unfortunately some of our gang will not be making the show.......so...if anyone is looking, it is a two bedroom full kitchen.

Tim, Did your replace the brake lines going to the rear when you did the conversion. I have been thinking of doing a rear brake to disc but was told I need to upgrade to stainless steel lines.
thanks

Doug, I live in Canada, we have to label the crap out of everything because our Gov"t doesn't think that we are smart enough to look after ourselves. Ok got that off my chest, lol
It is Metal cast code CMC200-Red
Anodized Colour effect over chrome
Heat resistant and durable. (durable it is!!!)
Carl, if you look very closely at a NOS lens it is painted on three sides. I did a light wet sand with 400 then applied a few light coats to get the colour depth I thought was close. You don't want to loose to much of the chrome finish before you paint.

I have found this to be very good for the Red on the lens. It is semi transparent , once painted, hard to tell between this and NOS

I don't think those will work on the front. I am running 17 x 8 with 4.5" backspacing. No rubbing issues but wouldn't want to go with any wider of a rim. Backs I am running 17 x 9.5" and 5.5" backspacing

Thanks for the help guys, really appreciate the ideas.
I replaced the fuel filter and adjusted the float a little. Drove the car 150 miles over a two day period this weekend and no issues. In hind site I think it was from the car sitting and things got a little gummed up.

I don't think it is because of the baby, might be the bench racing, just saying.

No both these cars where built in Oshawa

I know of two here. A triple Black and a triple Blue, the triple Blue is a one owner.
Both fully documented but neither have the Z20 option on the cowl tag. Interesting

My boys don't want a cabin for this meet, I wonder why.

Done and booked

Thanks for the replies,
Car was fully restored about three years ago. Original carb was rebuilt. Here is one thing that might be an issue, the car did sit for a year. Started and ran to temp a few times but never out on the road till last weekend. When the problem started.
Car idles great after stopping, but if I push the throttle it wants to stall and sometimes will, back off the throttle and it will not stall. Almost a fuel starvation problem. If it does stall, it will take 10 seconds or so to fire up again but then runs great.
Going to check a few things you all have mentioned tonight. Top off carb, fuel filter etc. Will be taking the Monte for a cruise and car show tomorrow.
See if I can narrow this down.

It appears that the pump shot is strong or good enough.
I cant find any vacuum leaks
Any other ideas that I could try???
Thanks
