A member on Team chevelle "danhalt" was selling them.  You can do a search on  team chevelle for  CD2 washer monitor float replacement and see what it looks like or you can email him at  dave.anhart1@gmail.com to see if he still has them. 20.00 + 7.00  shipping

Too funny, that is what I made to replace my broken float. The issue is the original was a translucent red & Green and these have a semi transparent coating which isn't as good.

I had the same problem and got some advice from another member and a link. Because I live in Canada I couldn't just order them from a local fastener shop and had to get from China. Well they showed up last week and I installed my rocker chrome with ease and no damage. The front  clips should be with an  bolt and nut and the rear with a plastic fitting and screw, the 8 in between are the plastic clips. I'll see if I can find the link.

    I used AuVeCo part # 8400    worked perfectly .

Its a plastic clip instead of a metal one, so no worry of it scuffing the paint then rusting. I used to keep a few boxes around for members but I cant find any more in my garage or Id send some out.

Thank you so much, I had to order from China but they showed up last week and I installed with no issues. They worked perfect.

I am looking for Rocker Panel molding clips. I have the chrome, but the clips that I have will not work without damaging the chrome.

Anyone else had this problem, and find a solution?

  6. Hi, new member and looking for assistance. On 4th year restoring 70 Monte and can't find correct fasteners for rocker chrome. Bought some from OPG and had them sent to Calgary but they don't fit. Called OPG and they told me they should so no help from them. Has anyone had the same issue? Lastly nice to finally join as member.
