I am a retired AP United States History teacher.  I taught for 39 years in schools in Upstate New York and Virginia Beach, Virginia.  I have owned my 1970 Monte Carlo fro 45 years.  I drove it to my first day of college in August of 1974 and my last day of teaching on June 15, 2018.  Monte has had a cosmetic restoration of the body and interior.  This winter I want to get the drive train checked to see if everything is ok.  I do use Monte now and then for car shows and rides.  I was a member of the the National Monte Carlo Owners Association for 30 years and since they have folded I want to be part of a new club for Monte Carlos.  I hope to make the Eastern Show next year for the 50 anniversary of the introduction of the Monte Carlo.
