Hi ,looking for info ,I have a 70 ss 454 with rust pitting on cylinder walls .Can anyone tell me how far these blocks can safely be bored. Also any good updates for these motors appreciated.Debaeting rebuilding or going with a crate motor.
ya thats what I should have said ,was wondering if there is some way to tell if the crank is forged or not by the motor no. Thought that i had read somewere that there were no 4 bolt mains in 70? thanks. Does anyone know of a site to help decode these nombers?
thanks, going to replace the trunk floor but all ready removed or cut all body bolts. most of the cagenuts spun loose of the welds so need to replace these, iam guessing i should replace the cagenuts and rebolt body to the frame first?
