I use a seam sealer in a caulk tube and apply it over the seam. I then will take a paint stick or a plastic spreader and run over the bead once and only once to get that factory look. I've used paint brushes in the past and prefer the look that a paint stick leaves.

Good afternoon, Finally got around to registering and wanted to give everyone a Hello! I've been a lurker since I bought my 71 several years ago and nearly made the western meet last year. My car was wrecked and I didn't get it done in time.. Fact is, there is a lot more work that needs to be done to make it road worthy again.
