in some states u cant have that and other sates u can. check with the cops on it other wise it might cost u alot of money.
-

here is a pic of a 70 convertible and another pic of a 70 convertible

when u shave the door handles u weld in plate to cover the holes. i did this to my monte and the lil black box the open the doors went out so i went back to the chrome door handles. the pull to open the door would always get lose and need to be retight. u can do body work at home it takes time to get the body stright and prefect.

dave there is also firber glass which now comes made in bondo form i think its called bondo glass, which smooths out nicely and easy to sand. bondo over time might fall out or creak due to heat. the metal to metal dont go smooth and it a lil harder to sand smooth, but it good to fill in dents. on the 70 elkie we used bondo on the firewall to get raid of teh spot welds and any of the other holes we didnt need. the firber glass was used in the bed area and in the rear fender wheels. the metal to metal was used where the sail panel meets the roof. right now we r puttin power vent windows in the elkie along with power windows.

best way to get the handles and lock out is with the glass up

capri is it black cloth? if u r thinkin of goin to vinyl u might not want them in black unless u r goin to use seat covers. the 70 chevlle my dad had had pearl vinyl and u could burn urself after the car was parked in the sun. i would stick to the cloth since this is a much cooler(temp wise) seat.
