Yours looks different colour then mine. Wheee did you get it? Was it stiff? Mine was soft almost like a blanket. Got it rolled up in a bag

I'll take some pictures, I got the hood insulation from opgi. All new round clips and tucked in all the places it should be. It seems very soft so towards the back where there is t enough clips it's sagging really bad. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to use glue... don't really want to. My buddy said he's try and use it because his Camaro the fan blade shoots bugs and crap all over the hood and it's a pain to clean apparently

So I bought a USA 630 radio, its on its way. Wemtnout amd bought new 6x9's for back and 4x6's for front under dash and amd amp. So my problem... all the new 4x6 speakers have fairly big magnets and will require a fair bit of modification. Has anyone tackled this yet and would have suggestions for me that would help?

Somout on my new hood insulation, got it tucked in front and back and all clips in bit notice a lot of sag, is this normal? Debating just ripping it out but would prefer to have it

Hey guys, so I have my dash all together so this question probably should of been asked before hand but it seems as though I'm missing my brake indicator. So you have your 2 signal indicators at the top of the cluster but there are also 2 at the bottom, the bottom left is high beam but not 100% on bottom left. I have 3 clusters all missing the lense including the one I installed. I figured that's just how it was. I looked at my dads 72 today and seen his has the brake dummy light in that location. I went on OPGI and looked at there after market cluster and those also seem to not have that lense in there clusters that you can buy. Can anyone enlighten me? Is this supposed to be like that?

Ha well I guess that would make sense. In my head when I'm thinking I need a cap for a non vented tank that the cap will have to be vented but your terminology makes sense that you would want a non vented cap for a non vented tank... just sounds weird that a cap that actually vents is called a non vented cap

So I am almost done restoring my car. Out fuel in it had it run I g so that was good. Sat for a day and fuel started leaking out carb from built up pressure in the tank. I ordered a non vented tank but got a vented fuel cap for it. What is going on?! Why am I getting a pressure build up?! Please help

Thank you, I don't have the original carpet is was takin out years ago and it fell apart basically. But that helps forsure gives me an idea how to deal with the edges. Maybe I'll lay it where it sits nice and mark where I'll have to trim it but I'll leave just a bit extra I don't mind having to do that a few times to be safe

That's what I thought but isnit ever tight! Having a hard time to get it up and under in passenger area. What should the overlap be? Or should it just be flush?

Has anyone had any luck finding good dash speakers that will work? I've been trying to find something but not sure what to do. The original mounts look pretty specific

Ah ok, I still feel like I'm missing something... that opening is so big I don't want to drop my stuff down into oblivion lol. Is there some sort of boot or something that hugs the shifter and bolts to console so you don't drop things down there?

so I have this piece for my console and not sure how it is supposed to fit, just doesn't seem to sit properly I am wondering if anyone has any experience in assembling one of these. The second picture shows the piece in question

The hole for my speedo cable looks like it's directly below steering column. My buddy thinks it should be further to the centre of the car and up a bit higher like his 4spd 68 Camaro

Mcfan, could You define more what you mean by exits passenger compartment? Do you mean exits transmission on passenger side?

So guys i have a speedo cable question. My 70 was a automatic car and the speedo cable came through the floor where the pedals are. My buddy that is helping me build this car said he believes the cable came through more towards the tunnel. Could anyone help me figure out where this should be routed?
